Our founder Tatsuji Maeda is from the family of more than 100 years in business of one of the largest Buddhist Altars and Peripherals suppliers in Japan. Tatsuji Maeda has been in Domestic and Overseas Japanese Buddhist Temples and Shinto Shrines business for more than 30 years including working on restoration of the Temples ‘and Shrines’ Altars and Hondo Onajin, and Gejin Interior construction works.
Since, he was not the eldest son, he was sent to a boarding school in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada from 1964 and was raised and educated finally in Toronto, Canada until 1977, achieving fluent English speaker and earning Oversea Cultural.
He went to State of Hawaii, USA in 2003, where he worked until 2016, as a founder of Japan Memorial Corporation, working on repair and restoration of many Japanese Buddhist Temples and Shinto Shrines mainly in Hawaii and Mainland USA. After returning to Japan, he is working for Overseas Temples and Shrines Repairs and Restorations based from Japan, together with supplying their Peripherals and Disposable items.
